The simple math
A narrator speaking 155 words in one minute reads at 155 wpm. If you prefer listening around 210 wpm, playing that narrator at roughly 1.35× gets you there.
This is why the same playback speed can feel too slow for one narrator and too fast for another — their natural pace, not just your speed setting, sets the actual words per minute you hear.
