Get Booktrace on Android, free

You're one of the first on Android. It's free for you now, and it stays free after launch. Three taps, about a minute.

Open this page on your Android phone. The steps only work there.
One rule: use one Google account

Use the same Google account for every step as the one in your Play Store.

Not sure which one that is? Open the Play Store and tap your photo in the top right.

Join the tester list

Tap the button, then tap Join group. Then come back to this page.

The page may say "You don't have permission to view this content" the whole time. That's fine. Look at the very top: next to "Booktrace Android testers" there's a Join group button. Tap it.

Done? Go to step 2 ↓

Become a tester

Tap the button, then tap Become a tester. Then come back here.

If it says the app isn't available, you're probably on a different Google account. Tap your photo at the top of that page and switch.

15 MINUTES

Google needs about 15 minutes to let you in after step 2.

Tap step 3 too early and you'll get an error page saying the URL wasn't found. That's normal. Just wait, then tap step 3 again.

Install Booktrace

Tap the button, then tap Install.

Install from Google Play

If you see "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server", Google just hasn't added you yet. That can take a little while. Wait 15 minutes and tap the button again. Still there after an hour? Open the Play Store, tap your photo, and check it's the same Google account you used in steps 1 and 2.

That's it. Open Booktrace and enjoy.
